“Biz Hepimiz Chris Olduğunu Biliyoruz”: Resident Evil: Requiem Hayranları, Capcom'un Gizlemeye Çalıştığı Bir Sırrı Ortaya Çıkardı (Spoilerlar!)

A few days have passed since the release of Resident Evil: Requiem, and fans are only now beginning to notice something Capcom carefully concealed in the game’s finale.

It all started with a Reddit post. A user named Remarkable-Camel3805 pointed out a detail in the good ending: Leon removes his glove — and on the ring finger of his left hand, there’s a ring. The finger typically associated with a wedding band. Throughout most of the game, Capcom kept Leon’s hand hidden inside a glove due to infection. But in the finale, there was nothing left to hide.

Then things escalated. Fans discovered that Sherry Birkin is also wearing a ring — though on her pinky finger. The theory that it might symbolize survivors of Raccoon City quickly surfaced in discussion threads, but failed to convince many: Sherry’s ring is clearly placed differently, suggesting a separate meaning. The long-simmering ship wars reignited overnight. Some fans are betting on Ada Wong, others on Claire Redfield. But the loudest faction? Those who noticed how Leon seems to light up at the mere mention of Chris Redfield’s name.

He’s married to Chris. I was shocked too, but I sincerely hope they’re happy.

Resident Evil: Requiem launched on February 27 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PC, and Nintendo Switch 2. Within days, the game earned an 88 on Metacritic — the highest score for an original mainline entry in the past 20 years — and reached a peak of 344,000 concurrent players on Steam. Its user score on Metacritic stands at 9.5, matching last year’s favorite Clair Obscur: Expedition 33.

For those who’ve finished the game — what are your theories? Share them in the comments.
