The updated Fallout 4: Anniversary Edition, released on November 10, brought not only bonuses and new content but also a slew of technical issues. Some players bildirdi that the game wouldn’t launch at all, while others encountered crashes when returning to the desktop or opening the Creations menu.
According to fans on Reddit, the main culprit appears to be mod conflicts. For some players, a temporary fix involves disabling all modifications. However, crashes also affected users who didn’t purchase the Anniversary Edition, sparking another wave of jokes about Bethesda’s “signature” release quality. As one user put it:
Oyununu kendi yıldönümünde bozmak, Bethesda'nın zirvesidir.
Bethesda has since issued a statement confirming that it’s investigating issues related to accessing Creation Club content after purchasing the Anniversary Edition or the Creations Bundle. The company warned that there might be a delay between payment and the appearance of purchased content in users’ libraries but promised to resolve the issue soon.
Despite the technical hiccups, 2025 remains a strong year for the Fallout franchise. In December, the Burning Springs update for Fallout 76 will launch, along with the second season of the TV series set in New Vegas. So even if Fallout 4’s anniversary didn’t go perfectly, fans of the series still have plenty to look forward to.
