The developers of the free-to-play battle royale Battlefield REDSEC have admitted they’re literally “YouTube'da kamp kurmuş durumdalar” — watching every player video they can find to track bugs, unexpected mechanics, and strange interactions that appeared only after launch.

Creative director Thomas Andersson said he’s “proud of the launch” but is keeping a close eye on how players adapt to the game. The team is already tagging moments that need urgent fixes in upcoming patches.

Design director Justin Wiebe added that while some issues had been patched ahead of release, other discoveries “caught us completely off guard” — the kind of things only tens of thousands of players could uncover. The developers are actively gathering feedback and shaping plans for ongoing live updates.

The launch of Redsec has been rocky: the game currently holds about 44% positive reviews on Steam, and critics note it strays far from the classic Battlefield identity. Still, the team believes the current version provides a solid foundation to grow the live service.

Previously, we reported that the devs nihayet düzelttiler the overpowered drone-and-sledgehammer exploit in Battlefield 6.
