According to the ESRB website, the original Red Dead Redemption has received a new age rating for PS5, Switch 2, and Xbox Series X/S. This strongly suggests that Rockstar Games is preparing to release an updated version of the classic western on modern platforms.

While the publisher has not yet confirmed any details or a release date, the appearance of a new ESRB rating is often seen as one of the key indicators of an imminent launch. It’s worth noting that the remastered version of RDR, which included the Undead Nightmare expansion, was released in 2023 for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch, and arrived on PC a year later.
