The third-person action-adventure game, Star Wars Outlaws, has finally made its way to Steam. Previously, the game was only available on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Epic Games Store, and Ubisoft Connect. Along with its Steam release, the game has received a substantial 1.4.0 update.
Patch Highlights:
- Size: 8.8 GB on PC, 7.4 GB on PS5, and 10.2 GB on Xbox Series X/S;
- Developers have removed the mandatory stealth requirement in many missions. Players can now use weapons in situations where it was previously restricted;
- Improved enemy AI;
- Players will now be notified when they are spotted by enemies;
- New ways to take down enemies have been introduced, with enemies now having «weak spots»;
- Balance adjustments;
- Enhanced animations and facial expressions in dialogue scenes;
- Improved lighting;
- Numerous other fixes.
Additionally, the developers have released a story expansion called Wild Card, offering players «a new story, new missions, and territories».
At the time of writing, Star Wars Outlaws holds a 70% rating on Steam. Moreover, the game is available at a 25% discount until December 5th.
