The first official reviews for Death Stranding 2 are set to go live later today, but one outlet jumped the gun. Malaysian site Kakuchopurei published its review early, giving the sequel a score of 9 out of 10 — a rating that briefly appeared on the aggregator OpenCritic.

OpenCritic also included a short summary of the review, which paints a more mixed picture than the score suggests:

Meanwhile, Reddit users noticed another leak — a Google snippet showing a review from French outlet JeuxVideo, which reportedly gave the game a perfect score.

Death Stranding 2 officially launches on June 26, but owners of the Deluxe Edition will be able to start playing later tonight.
