Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 Guide: How to Romance Katherine

In Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, Henry has several romantic interest options, but not all of them can become main partners. Katherine is a girl with an impressive décolleté, whom you will meet almost at the very beginning of the game. You might think that she is closed off to romance, but in reality, a romantic relationship is not only possible but can also become central for Henry, affecting the finale. In this guide, we will step by step tell you what to do to eventually spend the night with Katherine.

You will see Katherine in the prologue. She is the girl in a blue dress, washing clothes with her friends in the water. She is the one attacked by one of the bandits, whom Henry drives away. After recovering with the herbalist and visiting the village of Troskovice, the hero will meet Katherine again. She will enter the tavern, and Henry will try to use her as a witness to the attack. Unfortunately, at this stage, you have no options to win the girl over, so you don't need to pay attention to the answers.

After the quarrel with Jan, you will lose sight of Katherine for a long time. The next meeting will take place in the quest "For Whom the Bell Tolls." While Henry is sneaking into the Trosky castle, the girl will sarcastically comment on his actions. But don't pay attention to this.

Closer to the second half of the game, Katherine's true motives are finally revealed. Henry will have the opportunity to take more decisive actions. When you first spend the night in Suchdol as part of the story, ask Katherine if you can join her. The girl will respond to the flirting, but there will be no continuation.

The next stage is in Sigismund's camp. While completing the "Royal Gambit" task, you will again encounter Katherine, who is washing Henry in the baths. You will have the opportunity to say one of the phrases to her:

Both options will raise your reputation, but they will require a Persuasion check, which is definitely worth passing.

Next, wait for the moment when you receive the quest "The Fifth Commandment." Katherine works in the tavern in Kutná Hora. She will ask you to find a serial killer. Skipping the details, you will eventually come to a final choice — to hand the killer over to the authorities or to Katherine. Both options work, but the second choice (giving to Katherine) will raise your reputation higher.

The next quest is "The Stalker." This side quest will open during the storyline mission "Fox's Den." It is important to receive and complete the additional quest before completing the story one. In Sigismund's camp, wait for the evening for Katherine to wash you again. During the process, talk to the girl and find out that someone is following her. Katherine's shoe was stolen, but thanks to Barbossa, you can easily find it. Just give the dog the second shoe so he can pick up the trail. It's important to choose the dialogue option related to dog handling skills — "dog handler." If you don't have enough points, don't worry, the quest can be completed in another way.

Barbos will lead you to a warrior named Chakan. He is dressed all in red and is quite noticeable against the others. If using the dog's help didn't work, hide near Katherine's tent and wait until 2 AM. Chakan will come on his own, but it's important to hide in the shadows and sneak up on him from behind, otherwise, he will panic and run away. In the dialogue with Chakan, you can choose one of several replies:

After resolving the issue, return to Katherine to increase your reputation.

The next pivotal moment will occur during the quest "Vlachs Robbery." This is a storyline quest, so you won't miss it, but it's easy to miss the dialogue with Katherine. Follow the main objectives until Henry is asked to talk to Zizka. Don't go to him, instead head to the mint. In the coin minting room, inspect the soldier's corpse, then climb the nearby spiral staircase. Katherine is standing there. Talk to her and be sure to say: "You look wonderful." If you compliment her décolleté, it will raise your reputation even higher.

In the quest Civitas Pragensis, a celebration will begin in Suchdol. During the process, you can raise a toast to Katherine. When she says she's going to sleep, ask again if Henry can join her. This will increase your reputation.

Finally, the final quest will be "Hunger and Despair." You will find yourself in the fortress with your allies. Repel the attack and talk to Zizka about future plans. Then find out from him about Katherine's past. Go to the infirmary where you will find the girl. Be sure to choose the phrase in the dialogue: "I will bring help, and everything will be fine." Now head to the fortress wall and interact with the bedding, after which the bed scene will start.
