Tom Cruise Demonstrates Dangerous Plane Stunt for New Mission Impossible

At 62, actor and stuntman Tom Cruise continues to perform all of his own stunts for films. Mission: Impossible — The Final Reckoning was no exception, but the high-altitude stunt almost proved fatal.
The actor posted a short clip of himself hanging by the ropes of an upside-down plane. The moment was even captured for the official cover of the Empire issue dedicated to the new Mission: Impossible. As Tom Cruise himself told reporters, the stunt was not easy for him and almost cost him his life:
When you stick your face out, going over 120 to 130 miles an hour, you’re not getting oxygen. So I had to train myself how to breathe. There were times I would pass out physically; I was unable to get back into the cockpit.

The blockbuster Mission: Impossible — The Final Reckoning will premiere on May 23 this year. The film will be a direct sequel to 2023's Mission: Impossible — Dead Reckoning.
It was recently revealed why Sigourney Weaver decided to join Star Wars. And before that, a rare archive of Henry Cavill's audition for the role of James Bond appeared.
