In the early hours of June 9, Hideo Kojima hosted a major Death Stranding 2: On The Beach presentation in Los Angeles. Instead of a traditional trailer, Kojima debuted several fresh clips, including the game’s opening cinematic, cutscenes featuring Elle Fanning and Shiori Kutsuna, and around 15 minutes of gameplay footage.

During the showcase, Kojima also shared new details about the sequel. Death Stranding 2 will feature a dynamic soundtrack that adapts to the player’s actions. One of the new weapons is called the “blood boomerang.” While combat has become more intense overall, stealth remains a viable option for those who prefer a quieter approach.

Kojima also unveiled a new poster by artist Pablo Uchida and a vinyl edition of the game’s soundtrack, which is now available for pre-order.

Death Stranding 2: On The Beach launches June 26 exclusively on PlayStation 5.
