In the quest "The Heirloom" in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, gamers will encounter the tragic story of the Mikush family. In this guide, we will examine all possible outcomes for the refugees' fate in detail.
In the Kuttenberg region, between Mezholezy and Bilany, find Svatava Mikusheva by the stream at the hunting lodge. The lady will tell you that Sigismund's mercenaries burned the family estate in the nearby village. She will then ask you to find her husband, the tailor Mikush. Mikush's daughter, Vendula, upon a successful persuasion check, will say that her father recently got into a fight over a dice game and will advise heading to the nearest tavern.
Ask the innkeeper about Mikush. The innkeeper will suggest approaching a local player named Chernik, with whom the man matching your description previously played.
Find the dice player in the tavern and inquire about the tailor. There are several ways to get the truth:
Eventually, the hustler will tell you that Mikush got involved with a local farmhand named Slukhach, who associates with bandits.
Find the worker on the farm to the left of the tavern. To get the truth, you will need to successfully pass a persuasion check several times. In the end, Slukhach will confess that Hanka, Mikush's nephew, learned about the hidden inheritance.
Eventually, the young man will tell you that under the pretext of repaying a debt, which the tailor won from him in dice, he lured the old man into the forest. There, Hanka and the bandits kidnapped the fire victim, promising the farmhand a share of the inheritance.
Leave Bilany heading south on the main road and continue to the fork, then turn right. Continue straight through the woodcutters' camp until you reach the crossroads. Here, start searching for traces of the kidnapping. From the crossroads, head towards the burned Mezholezy, carefully examining the ground until you find traces of blood.
Take the path to the left of the main road. The trail will lead to a stream where the camp is located.
Defeat the two bandits.
After that, examine the injured old man. Successfully pass a skill check to determine that the beaten man has infected wounds.
To heal the tailor, perform the following actions:
The treatment will then be complete, and the man will survive. But with poor treatment, he will die.
The tailor, upon regaining consciousness, will reveal that he disclosed the secret of the inheritance to his nephew. Return to the hunting lodge, where the hero will meet Hanka with a blade at Vendula's throat and two fighters.
You need to convince the bandit to release the girl. If you do nothing, she will be killed. Try to resolve the situation peacefully through negotiations. Say that you know the truth about his feelings for Vendula and the rest of the information you learned from Slukhach, otherwise, successfully pass a persuasion check.
If you fail to convince them to retreat, you will have to fight three bandits.
Tell the woman that you managed to save Mikush. At this point, the lady will say she hears strange noises behind the house and will ask you to check what's going on.
Go outside and meet the tailor.
Svatava will thank you for your help and ask you to find the treasure in Mezholezy, explaining where the chest is buried.
Go to the burned village. Start the search at the first tree to the right of the southern entrance to the village. From the tree, move to the left end of the garden. Look for a clearing with an overturned cart in the bushes and start digging. Be prepared to encounter wild dogs or Cumans.
Return to the refugees. Inform them that the treasure has been found. Give them everything you discovered. In gratitude, you will receive an increase in strength and survival skills, as well as some money.
Additionally, there are other possible outcomes for the quest depending on the hero's actions.
Mikush died due to poor treatment:
Treasure options:

It depends on Henry how this story will end. Return the inheritance to the surviving family members or leave behind an old lonely woman who has lost everything she held dear.
