Kingdom Come Deliverance 2: Accuse Stepan Vorona or Grozav from Borumlaki

During the playthrough of the second Kingdom Come, you will periodically have to make important decisions. For example, closer to the end of the game, you need to decide whom to blame for the murder: Grozav from Borumlaki or Stepan Vorona. In this guide, we will describe the consequences of each choice.

In the story quest "The Lion's Den," you will investigate a murder. We suggest gathering all the evidence to know exactly who committed the attack before deciding whom to accuse of the crime.

First, sneak into Sigismund's camp. You can pass a skill check, pay the required amount, or start the side quest Lost Honour. In the latter case, you don't even need to complete it — access to the camp will be open.

Before heading to the main objective of the quest, we recommend going to the baths located to the left of the camp entrance and talking to Katerina. She will give you the side quest "Stalker." It is important to complete it before finishing the mission "Fox's Den." If you do everything correctly, you will gain Katerina's favor, opening the path to a romance with her.

First, you need to find the guy who is stalking the girl. The easiest way is to let the dog sniff her shoes. The dog will lead you to the place where this strange man is hiding. However, you won't find him in the tent. Fast forward to 02:00 and head to Katerina's tent — the Cuman will be standing here.

You will need to convince the man to leave Katerina alone. You can offer him money, use conversational skills, or simply win in a fistfight. We do not recommend spending coins and suggest trying another method. Then return to the beauty and tell her the issue is resolved.

Talk to Stepan Vorona to enlist in the royal army.

After that, start a dialogue with Commander Dietrich. Then go to the doctor named Musa. He is treating the soldier Myshko. You can help him. To do this, you need to examine the fighter and prepare a potion known as a strong rooster. You can use our alchemy guide for this.

Note that if you give Myshko a regular or weak version of this potion, he will die. After the guy recovers, start a dialogue with him. He will indicate the location of his comrades.

Head to Old Lochna. You can use fast travel if you have already unlocked the teleportation point earlier. It is important for you to get to the mill itself.

To do this, you can convince the warriors that Myshko has already told everything. If it doesn't work — you can take out all the fighters in your path or sneak behind their backs carefully. Climb up and open the chest.

It is locked with a very easy lock, but if you wish, you can use a key. You will find it in the pocket of one of the soldiers. Take the charter, return to the camp, and talk to Dietrich.

After you learn about the crime, you will have two in-game days to sort out all the details. After this period, the trial will begin.

Examine the blood on the ground, the trough with water, and the gunpowder warehouse with a broken lock, and also find alcohol in the tower where the guards are located.

The blood trail will lead you to Chertan's tent.

Examine the chest with a complex lock. The key is nearby, under the bed. Among other things, you will find a debt note, which makes it clear that Grotslav borrowed money from the guy.

However, Musa was accused of Chertan's death. You need to talk to the potential murderer. He is already in custody, but you can convince the guard to let you pass. If you fail the skill check — wait for him to turn away and leave, then sneak to Musa and start a dialogue with him. He will advise you to examine the body and read a book about poisons.

Go to Chertan's body. Examine the corpse, then open the chest, which is locked with an easy lock. There you need to find a poison guide. The soldier was poisoned with the Kiss of Death. Report this to Musa. He will recommend examining the tents of the suspects and finding out who has the ingredients for this poison.

The correct answer is Stepan Vorona. It is his belongings that you need to examine to gather all the evidence.

But we recommend inspecting the belongings of Grozovy, Radovan, Wojciech, and Musa himself. You can also get some valuable loot. That's all. You can do other things in the camp or simply fast forward time until the trial begins.

Note: if you shout while another person is answering or make accusations without specific evidence, the judge will start getting angry with you. After three such actions, your character will be executed, and the game will end. This is another way to get a secret ending, similar to the execution in Trosky Castle.

It is important to say that Musa did not have the ingredients to make the poison. Then you will have the opportunity to name the real killer. Or shift the blame to another person.

Stepan is the real criminal. If you want to be honest, you should name him in court. As evidence, mention that the soldier had everything necessary to make the "Kiss of Death." After the accusation, he will start resisting, and he will be killed. Thus, you will lose a person who could become a valuable ally for you.

To save Stepan's life, you can claim that Grozav is to blame for everything. He owed money to Chertan and didn't want to repay it, which could have been a motive for the crime. To accuse him, it is enough to present the debt note, which can be found in the chest in his tent.

The choice is yours. Also, note that Musa is an excellent teacher, thanks to whom you can unlock new skills. We recommend talking to him before moving on.

After the trial, you need to talk to Katarina and then have a dialogue with Dietrich. Watch the cutscene and fend off the enemy attack. During the conversation with Jan, ask him to wait, then turn to Stepan Vorona if he survived in your playthrough. This way, you can recruit the warrior to your side. Don't forget to execute Katz to get the achievement before you turn to Zizka and complete the quest.
