Handsome Charlie is the second quest in the series of tasks from Centurion Rudy in the game Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2. You will have to head north to meet an unusual robber who prefers an exquisite gentleman's outfit over formidable plate armor. In this guide, we will detail how to successfully complete the task and receive a valuable item as a reward.
This quest becomes available after completing the "Canker" mission in the Trosky region. Head to the Semin fortress and find Centurion Rudy there. Talk to him about the robbers, and he will tell you that in the north, at the charcoal burner camp, a bandit named Karela has settled, who managed to win over the local workers. Your task is to go there, eliminate the leader, and bring his hat as proof. Additionally, you will have to decide what to do with the charcoal burners who supported the robber.
Head to the Vidlak Pond, then follow the main road northwest. Turn left at the nearest turn and continue to the charcoal burner camp. Upon arrival, you can talk to one of the workers and ask him to take you to Karela or go to him yourself. In the dialogue, you will have the opportunity to convince the robber to fight one-on-one. Even if you have to fight them all, after Karela's death, the rest of the charcoal burners will scatter. We advise sparing them — you will be rewarded for this in the future.
Don't forget to take Karela's hat from his body. Search the camp: here you will find many useful items, including excellent plate gloves hidden in one of the chests.
Return to the centurion in the Semin fortress, report the completion of the task, and present Karela's hat as proof. If you wish, you can keep it — it's your only possible reward. At the early stages of the game, this headgear becomes a valuable acquisition, increasing the main character's charisma.
A couple of days later, return to the centurion for a new, more challenging task. Bring your equipment to perfect condition and prepare for trials. You will face dangerous opponents.
Next quest: Johnny the Gob.
