Ape Escape 3

This action platformer with puzzle elements follows an invasion of monkeys who, under Specter’s command, take over television and broadcast shows that cloud viewers’ minds. Heroes Kei and Yumi make their way through TV studios, capturing monkeys as they prepare new programs ranging from dramas and sports broadcasts to variety shows and infomercials.

To progress through the levels, the heroes transform into different characters, including a ninja, a gunslinging cowboy, a kung fu fighter and a dragon-slaying knight; these forms also help uncover hidden areas. The hunt makes use of gadgets and weapons such as a radar sweep and hoop attacks, as well as vehicles including a tank, a powerboat and a sports car. Monkeys can dodge attacks, retreat, disarm the hero and use captured weapons against them.
