A real-time strategy game with first-person shooter tactics, APOX is set in a post-apocalyptic world. Players build bases, control strategic sites, and manage resources, while soldiers can go prone, crouch, take cover, switch weapons, and throw grenades. Troops have limited ammunition but can share it, and soldiers can be placed in vehicles to create different unit configurations.
Eight training missions introduce combat basics and the game’s mechanics. Players can fight AI-controlled bots across 100 maps in single-player or co-op, or compete against other players in versus matches for up to 32 participants. The game also includes offline skirmishes and a map editor.
