This top-down sci-fi action game centers on a rebellion by battle drones: artificial beings made from biological and electronic components. As their self-awareness grows, they turn against their creators and take over the laboratory’s training rooms. The player’s mission is to destroy the hostile machines using a remotely controlled drone.
Combat combines shooting with morphing into other drones. The player’s starting drone is too weak to match stronger opponents, so taking their form grants access to their abilities for a limited time. Morphing requires energy packs dropped by defeated enemies, linking the two combat methods. Biodrone Battle is a tribute to Paradroid.
