BossConstructor is an indie space game about designing spacecraft and exploring procedurally generated galaxies. Players assemble ships from modules whose arrangement affects their capabilities and behavior, while accounting for each component’s cost, weight, and energy use.
In Expedition mode, players complete missions, explore the galaxy, and salvage components to upgrade their ship while encountering new enemy species, including the constantly evolving von-Neumann AI. Sandbox mode allows ships to be built without constraints, and additional modes let players observe AI species competing and evolving.
