This adventure role-playing game in the JRPG tradition follows Celia as she leaves home in search of adventure and meets another runaway in the village of Villageville. When bandits kidnap her new friend, Celia sets out to rescue her and prove herself to the villagers.
The player explores a valley, delves into dungeons, solves puzzles and fights bandits and unusual creatures. Progress does not rely on gaining levels: exploration and victories over special enemies help develop Celia, while mentors let the player allocate attributes and skills. Different skill combinations support varied approaches to combat, and discovered secrets and friendships affect the ending. New Game Plus carries over most skills and achievements.
