A party-based role-playing game with card battles and roguelike progression follows a world abandoned by humanity after it was engulfed by the Black Fog. Lucy awakens in the Twisted Land with a cryptic message: to restore the world, she must gather the scattered Time Shades and set the Clock Tower in motion.
The player forms a team of up to four Investigators, develops its members, and combines skill cards in battle. Abilities are represented by cards, while relics, items, events, and bosses with distinct attack patterns shape each run. When the party is eliminated, its progress resets, but subsequent attempts reveal new options.
