Clock Tower (1996) — horror adventure with a third-person view and puzzle elements. The player character has three power levels. The strength level is indicated by a cursor, which can be white, flashing yellow, or red. Strength will decrease after extreme action or enemy attack, and will be restored over time. When a character's life is in danger, the cursor flashes red, indicating panic mode. If the character is being chased, click points only affect objects that will force the enemy to retreat. In exit mode, actions do not reduce force and recovery is suspended.
