A third-person crime action game set in neo-noir Grant City, a once-prosperous metropolis crumbling under crime, greed and corruption. Vice cop Jack Slate sets out to expose powerful figures behind the city’s troubles, while the story also shows how he and his dog, Shadow, become partners.
Jack can shoot enemies, use cover, take hostages, disarm opponents and fight at close range with combos and counterattacks. At certain points, players control Shadow, who can track enemies, detect threats and reach areas inaccessible to Jack. The two work together against the gangs tightening their grip on Grant City.
