This turn-based role-playing game blends board-game elements with an expedition across the kingdom of Dokapon, where an invading horde of treasure-stealing monsters must be defeated. The king offers his throne to whoever drives out the invaders, but several contenders are after the prize. Players cross fields filled with challenges, meet characters, collect rare items, defeat monsters, and level up their heroes.
Up to four players can compete for the crown and Princess Penny’s hand, fighting, stealing from one another, and disrupting their rivals. Battles use a system in which participants secretly choose their actions; magic and minigames are also part of the adventure. The game can be played solo, and its multiple modes offer different ways to return to the contest.
