A fantasy turn-based RPG inspired by classic 2D adventures, Epic Battle Fantasy 4 follows a party of heroes as they fight waves of enemies, explore a varied world, solve puzzles, and try to save it. The story is presented through comedic dialogue, immature humor, and video game references.
As the characters grow, players customize them with equipment and skills; the game features over 170 pieces of gear and 150 usable abilities. Enemies range from fluffy animals to gods. Alongside the main campaign, the game includes New Game+, survival, and boss rush modes.
