Final Fantasy VI is a turn-based tactical strategy role-playing adventure game with an isometric view. The war of magicians left behind only ashes and suffering. Even magic itself disappeared from the world. Now, a thousand years later, humanity has changed the world with the help of iron, gunpowder, steam engines and other machines and technologies. But there is one who possesses the lost power of magic — a young girl named Terra, who was kept enslaved by the evil Empire, trying to use her power as a weapon. This leads to a fateful meeting between Terra and a young man named Locke.
