Set during the Ming dynasty, this cold-weapon fighting game takes place in a martial-arts world unsettled by the court’s growing power and the resulting imbalance between good and evil. The sudden appearance of seven mysterious warriors, each having challenged renowned fighters, stirs conflict among martial artists.
Players choose weapons and learn their associated tactics for attacking, defending and moving, then combine them to shape a personal fighting style. Battles span several modes, including duels, deathmatches, assassinations and headhunting, with team-based modes also available. The game is an official sequel to Meteor Butterfly Sword and moves away from familiar genre systems built around classes, levels and skills.
