Üçüncü şahıs bakış açısı - video oyunlarında oyuncunun her zaman karakterini gördüğü bir inceleme yöntemidir. Genellikle kamera karakterin arkasında bulunur ve son zamanlarda kameranın biraz yana kaydırılması popüler bir çözüm haline gelmiştir, böylece oyuncuya karakterin omzunun üzerinden bakıyormuş gibi bir his verir. Bazen kamera serbest olabilir, bu da karakteri her açıdan incelemeye olanak tanır. Bu bakış açısı, nişancı oyunlarında, aksiyon oyunlarında, RPG'lerde ve bunların hibritlerinde kullanılır.
