This action role-playing game takes place in The World, an online game where schoolboy Kite encounters the aftermath of an attack by an unknown monster. His classmate Orca falls into a coma in the real world, so Kite keeps playing The World in the hope of finding a way to save him. A mysterious girl in white gives Kite the Book of Twilight, turning him into an outlaw player with the same power connected to Orca’s condition.
