Infinite Undiscovery — A sinister force has trapped the moon in chains and chained them to the surface, draining the life from the planet. The forged lands became a withering wasteland, and their once carefree inhabitants now lived in fear. Behind the world's plight were the Dread Knight and his fearsome horde, the Order of Chains. The player controls the main character Capell from a third-person perspective, while the other three characters are controlled by AI. The player fights against this team of 4, and sometimes against multiple teams formed from 18 possible characters. In combat, Capell can use connection actions that give him access to the skills of other team members.
