Maitetsu

A visual novel set in a world where humanoid modules called Raillords control the various functions of railway cars. Migita Sotetsu returns to his hometown of Ohitoyo after learning of a plan to build a factory by its landmark river. While some residents support the project, others fear pollution, so Sotetsu looks for a way to improve the town’s finances without relying on the factory. Among his late adoptive father’s belongings, he discovers Hachiroku, a Raillord.

Sotetsu and Hachiroku work together to help restore Ohitoyo to its former prosperity. The story features Japanese voice acting, animated sprites and scenes, and a scene-select feature for revisiting episodes. A gallery lets players view illustrations, listen to the music, and replay scenes; in-game tips provide information about trains and the game.
