A tactical strategy game set in a fantasy world, where an Immortal Ruler leads a nation through a 300-year war against the mysterious Cadence. The player commands heroes and makes plans that can shape the struggle decades into the future.
Heroes age and eventually die, so the roster is always changing. Marriages produce children who inherit randomized traits from their parents, while a fallen hero’s weapon may become a relic passed down within the same house. Strategy revolves around long-term planning and managing successive generations of fighters.
