A top-down arcade space shooter in which the player fights off waves of enemies to restore peace to the galaxy. Mobile Astro features ten stages and five boss battles, with weapon upgrades to aid in combat.
The game also includes leaderboards, pixel art graphics, and a soundtrack inspired by the Genesis era.
