Pamali: Indonesian Folklore Horror

Pamali: Indonesian Folklore Horror is an adventure horror game shaped by Indonesian myths, taboos, and cultural traditions. Jaka, a young man returning to his hometown to sell his old family house, begins cleaning and renovating it. He dismisses many of the family’s belongings and makes rude remarks, after which mysterious events unfold. Jaka discovers that his family has a secret and that someone—or something—else is in the house.

The player explores the abandoned house, interacts with objects, and can speak their thoughts about them. Actions, words, and decisions affect the course of events and the ending: Jaka can leave, try to sell the house, or continue searching for the entity inside. The investigation centers on the White Lady and Jaka’s family history, with repeat playthroughs revealing more about both. Different choices shape each night’s experience.
