A puzzle game with action elements in which players arrange blocks of different colors into chains and clear groups of four matching blocks arranged in a 2×2 square. Clearing blocks raises the level, while long chains yield power-ups. New elements appear in the landscapes as the level increases, with themes including cells, flowers, machines, and dreams.
Architect mode challenges players to complete set objectives as quickly as possible, while Artist mode is about surviving and achieving a high score; its scenery changes according to play. Both modes support cooperative play and wireless duels. In Bomb Run, up to eight players tackle the same scene and compete to be the first to destroy enough blocks.
