Royal Bounty HD is an adventure RPG strategy game about Jim, an adventurer who escapes from an island prison with neither gold nor an army. Pursued by a guard, he must find his way out of a maze and secure a ship; his journey then takes him across four continents, where he encounters varied creatures and an old friend known as the Master.
Across a large map, Jim completes quests, earns gold, builds an army and improves his stats to prepare for battles. His forces can include 180 creature types, and the regions to explore range from deserts and frozen lands to forests and towns. The story has several endings, and Dragons lend the hero a helping hand along the way.
