A fantasy action game with role-playing and real-time strategy elements, its battles combine fast-paced shooting with slower third-person combat. Players choose from 20 character classes: some fight in a first-person shooter style, while others rely on role-playing mechanics and spells.
The game features an improved melee system, and units are organized into officer-led groups. Characters can use items and cast spells, with a comprehensive single-player tutorial introducing the mechanics.
