A platform game about Sonic traveling through time, set on Little Planet, a mysterious world where the past, present, and future are linked by the power of the Time Stones. Drawn to the planet’s yearly appearance off the shores of Never Lake, Sonic finds it trapped beneath a metallic shell instead of the beautiful world he expected.
Dr. Eggman plans to seize the Time Stones and gain control of time. Sonic moves between eras, destroying Eggman’s machines in the past and recovering the missing stones to break the villain’s hold over the future. The adventure also features Amy and Metal Sonic, one of Dr. Eggman’s creations.
