Futuristic racing in the Sonic the Hedgehog universe revolves around manipulating gravity, which can reshape the track and help racers overtake their rivals. Across 16 courses, from illuminated city highways to the reaches of space, gravity powers can turn walls into racing surfaces or create black holes that pull a racer through and provide a speed boost.
Players can race as Sonic or one of 18 characters, using 60 different vehicles. The courses feature rails to grind, tricks to perform, loop-the-loops, and steep vertical drops. Three multiplayer modes support races with up to four players.
