Sonic Rivals — made in three-dimensional graphics with side-scrolling. Like most of the Sonic the Hedgehog series on handheld consoles at the time, Rivals features gameplay based on the classic trilogy of the series, where characters moved through 2D space. The main goal of the game is to overtake the opponent, while dodging various obstacles that the player encounters along the way.
