Sonic Rush — continues the tradition of two-dimensional platformers in the series. You can control both Sonic the Hedgehog and Blaze the Cat, who differ from each other in their special abilities. The way the Sonic Rush story is told is that the player goes through two storylines, each of which is told from the perspective of Sonic or Blaze. At the same time, both stories intersect with each other. Initially, only the hedgehog's storyline is open in the game, but after defeating the first boss, the cat's story also becomes available to the player. After completing both storylines and collecting the seven Chaos Emeralds and Sol Emeralds, the ending is unlocked.
