This third-person action game based on Marvel comics lets players freely explore New York City as Spider-Man, including its subways, sewers and villains’ lairs. Players choose their own goals and activities; progression does not require completing a checklist. Combat combines punches, kicks, web attacks, combos and abilities specific to Spider-Man’s regular and black suits.
The black suit enhances agility, durability and web abilities, but its power can overwhelm the hero. The game features ten enemies from the films and the Marvel universe, including Sandman and Venom.
