An action platformer with slasher elements, inspired by the works of H. P. Lovecraft and classic horror. A young girl arrives at Lafcadio Academy for Troubled Young Ladies, where nightmares carry her to other worlds and gradually transform her body. A blood-soaked book may be at the root of her troubles, and she sets out to destroy it.
The player explores levels and fights shadowy monsters using a one-button combat system, dashes, and double jumps. Enemies can be knocked into pits and spikes or kicked into saws; stylish kills fill a checkpoint meter. A checkpoint can be carried for extra points or placed to save progress. The game also features individual level rankings, bonus levels, and leaderboards for speed and high scores.
