Tiestru is an isometric action strategy game set in a world overcome by darkness, where light must be brought to the tower of Tiestru to stop evil. The player directs defenses across cities and dungeons, choosing the placement of structures and shaping battle lines.
Structures built from cubic crystals create and enhance spells, while special connections activate new abilities. The player gathers resources, transports energy, controls enemies and alters their paths. A minigame provides extra resources, and secret levels unlock new maps and enemies.
