This third-person action-adventure follows Lara Croft as she travels the world in search of one of history’s greatest artifacts. The quest brings figures from her mysterious past back into her life and leads her through ancient tombs, jungles and mountain regions.
Lara explores dangerous locations, uses her athletic abilities to overcome obstacles and solves puzzles while avoiding deadly traps. She fights with an arsenal of weapons and uses tools such as a grappling hook, binoculars and communications equipment to explore and interact with her surroundings. Physics, water and fire shape the hazards and obstacles found throughout the environments.

Yorumlar ve değerlendirmeler
Belki de oyunun en büyük güçlü yönleri uzunluğu ve mekan çeşitliliğidir. Güney Amerika'da kayalara tırmanabileceğiz, aktif bir askeri üssü ziyaret edebileceğiz, motosikletle bir gökdelenden diğerine atlayabileceğiz ve kim bilir daha neler yapabileceğiz (hatırlayamıyorum bile). Özellikle Croft Malikanesi'nin erişilebilirliği çok hoş, sadece keşif ve eğitim için değil, aynı zamanda kıyafet değiştirmek (kışlık ceketi tişörtle, onunkini dekolteli bir gece elbisesiyle değiştirmek) ve sadece hayranlıkla izlemek için de ideal.
Özellikle sıra dışı bir şey yok, ancak "Lara Croft Evrenine Giriş" listesinde kesinlikle önemli bir madde.
Наверное, всё же главные плюсы игры — продолжительность и разнообразие локаций. Нам дадут полазить по скалам в Южной Америке, побывать на действующей военной базе, сигануть на мотоцикле с одного небоскрёба на другой и проделать ещё чёрт знает (а я уже и не помню) что. Отдельно радует доступность поместья Крофт не только для изучения и тренировок, но и для смены наряда (зимнюю куртку — на маечку, а её — на вечернее платье с декольте), а также просто любования.
В принципе, ничего необычного, но это определённо важный пункт в списке «Знакомство с вселенной Лары Крофт».
