This open-world action RPG follows adventurers in Valandria as they try to prevent the return of an ominous force and restore unity to the world. Its procedurally generated landscapes can be explored solo or in online co-op for up to four players; difficulty scales as players join, while dynamic events shape each run.
Players choose from four character classes, each with skills to unlock and advance. They fight enemies and bosses, collect randomized loot, craft gear and jewelry, mine resources, and fish. Nearly every enemy can be collected as a companion, hired, and leveled up; a day-and-night cycle and the Epic Mode difficulty setting also affect play.
