This fast-paced, top-down action roguelike follows Doug McGrave, a demon hunter for hire who is cursed after refusing to help a town overrun by demons. Stripped of his powers, wealth, and weapons, he ventures into a dungeon to weaken the curse and regain his strength.
The player fights monsters in arenas and builds a combo meter, which quickly drains whenever Doug stops attacking. Weapons ranging from swords to chainsaws and machine guns break in his hands, forcing him to adapt as he goes. Demonic remains can be traded with vendors from Hellside for upgrades.
