A poker game centered on World Poker Tour tournaments, where players create a character and begin a career in professional poker. Quick Play, Satellite Tour Play, and WPT Season Play let players enter competitions, build experience, and increase career earnings while pursuing the title of WPT World Champion. Matches take place at venues including Commerce Casino and the Aviation Club, with broadcast-style presentation and commentary by Mike Sexton and Vince Van Patten.
The game features 14 poker variants, including Texas Hold’em, Omaha, and Pineapple, while a poker editor lets players set rules and limits for custom games. Tutorials and detailed statistics cover different situations and track playing tendencies. Earnings can be spent on character accessories; online features include tournaments, poker nights with friends, buddy lists, and chat.
