Worms 4: Mayhem — the game has two types of destructible environments — all objects on the surface of the landscape are divided into eight-polygonal “cubes”, which disappear when exposed to weapons. And the landscape “bends” when impacted, similar to the game Scorched 3D.
The game is very similar to its 3D predecessor Worms 3D, but there are a number of innovations. Players can now dress up their worms (choose hats, glasses, hair, gloves) and create their own unique weapons using the Weapon Factory. Another feature is the presence of a “shop” in which players can buy various items and weapons with points earned in missions. "Shop" items include new game cards, worm clothing and voices, and game styles. Trophies are awarded for various records set.

Боевые червяки — это весело, увлекательно и вряд ли надоест. Особенно, если устраивать побоища с друзьями. Игра понравится как детям (сцен насилия и прочих любимых прелестей рейтинговых контор здесь нет), так и взрослым (иронии и юмора игре не занимать). Разнообразность режимов (чего стоит только местный «Царь горы» — когда уровень постепенно уходит под воду и надо бы забраться повыше) и возможностей — в плюс, а всегда недостающее количество карт — в минус. А какая у игры разрушаемость!.. Любой горе-шутер и ААА-миллионер обзавидуется. ;)
