This fantasy action RPG follows Adol Christin on an adventure in Altago, a port city that has recently reopened to foreigners after a war with the Romun Empire. Its people distrust outsiders, while the surrounding land is filled with monsters impervious to ordinary steel. A royal quest to explore nearby ruins draws Adol into a story involving the Five Great Dragons and earthquakes threatening the country.
Combat features a party of up to three characters, with real-time switching between them. Battles rely on piercing, slashing, and striking attacks, alongside physical and magical skills, dodging, and well-timed guards. Companions join Adol along the way, including his loyal friend Dogi and the mercenary Geis.
