The game concept of playing squads to lead into a mixture of PVP and Co-op wargame was not bad at all. Enlisted also had some neat variations and options to allow different player types to make the best of it.

Patient and leaned back ain't your thing? Go stormtrooper, medic, or engineer instead.

Limitation of the basic 4 squads spoils the sniper career? No, sir & mam, as by now even I, as a mediocre player, can snipe with anti-tank rifles, so to have TWO sniping units in my 4 squads.

The game features World War 2 battles, and we can choose to start playing as German-Italian Axis, Japanese, Russian Soviet Union, or Americans. We can also play all 4 factions, but risk running out of silver due to the costs it involves.

MODDERS made mods we can play in-game AND download in-game! From Zombie Outbreaks to Napoleonic battles to Modern Warfare scenarios. Some are buggy, yet most are stable and cost-free for all.

Drawbacks: The AI of our squads is horribly wrecked. Many times, we lose, as our squadmates do not even perceive an enemy running alongside them, or fail to shoot at enemies directly before their weapons. The most recent update also, sadly so, resulted in massive movement BUGS.

Cheaters and so called seal-clubbers make newbie life more unpleasant than it should be. No real efforts to remedy any of it have ever been taken, and I repeat a reminder: Employees are obligated, not players!

Overall, from STEAM and independent install: Enlisted is among the better games, and it could have competed with Squads & Easy Red 2, if not wrecked & neglected.
