Klasik masaüstü mantık oyunlarına, bulmacalara vb. dayanan bir oyun türü. Seviyeleri geçmek için oyuncudan "kafasını çalıştırması" beklenir. Ayrıca, genellikle hız, doğruluk ve iyi bir tepki gösterme yeteneği de gereklidir. Bu tür oyunlar, klasik bulmacaların yanı sıra daha karmaşık oyun projelerini (mind-breaker games) de içerir.
